Friends come and go.
Some will be lifelong.
Some won’t.
This one’s for the friends who became acquaintances.

Thank you.
Thank you for being there for me when I needed you, and for your role in my growth. Thank you for being a chapter in my story. Thanks for helping me deal with the shitty times. Thanks for helping me celebrate the good stuff, too. Thanks for being what I needed, at just the right time.
Whether it was a sudden falling-out, or a slow departure, it doesn’t matter. I’ve grown and evolved since we were thick as thieves, and you have, too. We are supposed to. And although we will likely never have the same relationship we did before, just know that when I see you in the street, I have nothing but love for you. We aren’t gonna hang, but I truly do wish you and yours well. No grudges. No ill will. I’m simply grateful for when our paths crossed.
It was pretty freaking great.
And I’m grateful for you.

When you can think of your experiences with old friends in a positive and grateful way?
That’s Luxuriously Dope.
