What’s stressing you right now?
It might be the panic shopping on Amazon, hoping to make your kid’s Christmas amazing (while trying to find all the things that will be here by the 25th).
Or maybe it’s hosting a bunch of family.
Or maybe it’s the weight you’ve put on, or workout you keep skipping.
Maybe your kid’s grades aren’t where you’d like them, or someone was mean to them.
Maybe people are talking about you.
Or maybe you’re simply exhausted with alllllll the things.
Turns out, every yin has a yang.
But sometimes to find that yang, you have to zoom out.
Literally every single problem can be countered with a positive and grateful angle. (Annoying, I know. Sorry.)
We could panic, or be grateful that:
We are able to hop on Amazon and get anything at all.
We have family left to entertain.
We have our health, and are alive another day.
(Not to mention, probably a bomb ass personality within that body. Most of us, anyway.)
You get to appreciate all of the other things your kid does well, celebrate their strengths, and create goals to help their growth. Or you can teach them how to defend themselves, or simply know how NOT to treat people.
You are interesting and cool enough for people to spend their time talking about you.
And finally, we have an exciting and eventful enough life that we are able to partake and get tired at all.
And if you absolutely, positively cannot find a positive?
We all have a chance to change things.
It may not look exactly how we think it should, but the power is ours. And we can be grateful for that!
So bring on the panic shopping, mean girls, and those few extra pounds- We’ve got gratefulness to find. And gratefulness, especially during the bullshit? That’s Luxuriously Dope. 🖤
